HashLotto Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the HashLotto website (“Site”) and any purchases made from HashLotto (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing the Site and/or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1) Supplier details

2) Sales territory

HashLotto sells and ships only within South Africa. Orders with delivery addresses outside South Africa may be cancelled and refunded.

3) Products and information

  • We try to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing are accurate. However, errors or omissions may occur.

  • Product images are illustrative and may vary slightly from the product received (e.g., packaging, minor revisions).

  • For mining-related devices, performance metrics (hashrate, power, temperatures, stability) can vary based on firmware, configuration, power supply quality, Wi-Fi/network conditions, ambient temperature, and silicon variance.

4) Pricing, currency, and taxes

  • Prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR).

  • Any applicable taxes (including VAT where applicable) will be shown at checkout or on your invoice/receipt.

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect an order that has already been paid and confirmed.

5) Orders, payment, and acceptance

  • An order is considered confirmed when payment is successfully received/authorised and you receive an order confirmation.

  • We may refuse, cancel, or limit orders in cases of suspected fraud, stock errors, pricing errors, or misuse of the Site.

  • If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund you.

6) Dispatch, shipping, and delivery

6.1 Dispatch time

We aim to dispatch orders within 1 business day after payment confirmation (excluding weekends and South African public holidays).

6.2 Shipping fees (South Africa)

  • Standard shipping: R89

  • Free shipping: on orders over R1000

Shipping fees and eligibility are calculated and displayed at checkout.

6.3 Courier

We ship using Aramex (or an equivalent courier where operationally necessary).

6.4 Delivery times

Delivery time estimates shown at checkout or communicated by us are estimates, not guarantees, and may vary due to factors outside our control (courier capacity, remote areas, weather, disruptions).

6.5 Address accuracy

You are responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address and contact details. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect/undeliverable address or repeated failed delivery attempts, you may be responsible for additional costs to resend the parcel.

7) Returns (change-of-mind) — 30 days

HashLotto offers a 30-day change-of-mind return window from the date you receive the product, subject to the conditions below. This store policy is offered in addition to your rights under South African consumer law.

7.1 Change-of-mind return conditions

To qualify:

  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in original condition

  • Returned with all accessories, manuals, and original packaging

  • If the product was sold sealed (where the seal forms part of product integrity), it must be returned sealed

  • You must provide proof of purchase (order number/receipt)

7.2 Change-of-mind return shipping costs

Unless we agree otherwise, return shipping is for the customer’s account for change-of-mind returns.

7.3 Refund timing and method

If your return is approved:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method where possible.

  • Refunds are processed after we receive and inspect the return.

  • If the item is not returned in acceptable condition, we may decline the return or apply a reasonable deduction to reflect any diminished value.

8) Cooling-off right for online purchases

South African law may provide a cooling-off right for certain online transactions (for example, cancellation within a limited time after delivery in qualifying cases). Where applicable, we will handle qualifying cooling-off cancellations in line with the law. In such cases, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning goods, unless the law requires otherwise.

9) Defects, faulty goods, and statutory consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) or other applicable South African laws.

If you believe a product is defective, unsafe, or not of acceptable quality:

  1. Contact us with your order number and a description of the issue (photos/videos may be required).

  2. We may ask you to complete basic troubleshooting (particularly for configuration, Wi-Fi/network, pool settings, or firmware-related issues).

  3. If a defect is confirmed, we will work with you on the appropriate remedy in line with applicable consumer law and the circumstances (for example repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate).

Important: Many mining devices depend on correct setup, stable Wi-Fi/network conditions, correct wallet address entry, suitable power supply, and safe operating conditions. Issues caused by misconfiguration, unsupported modifications, third-party firmware, improper power supplies, or misuse may not be treated as product defects.

10) “Bitcoin lottery / solo mining” disclaimer (no guarantees)

Some products we sell may be described as “solo miners”, “lottery miners”, or “learning/enthusiast miners”.

By purchasing these products, you acknowledge:

  • No mining outcome is guaranteed. Finding a Bitcoin block with small miners is extremely unlikely and depends on network conditions, hashrate, and chance.

  • We do not guarantee profitability, earnings, or returns.

  • Product performance figures are estimates and may vary based on setup and environment.

  • You are responsible for electricity costs, pool fees, network access, and safe operation.

11) Software, firmware, and third-party services

  • Any firmware, software, pools, or third-party services referenced are provided by third parties and may change without notice.

  • Where we provide guidance, it is provided “as is” for convenience. You are responsible for safe updates and correct configuration.

  • We are not responsible for outages, changes, or actions by third-party services (including mining pools, wallet services, or exchanges).

12) Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to interfere with Site security or functionality

  • Use automated scraping, bots, or abusive behaviour

  • Misrepresent your identity or payment details

13) Intellectual property

All content on the Site (including logos, product copy, images, and guides) is owned by or licensed to HashLotto and may not be copied or reused without permission, except where allowed by law.

14) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses (including loss of profits, loss of mining rewards, loss of business, or loss of data).

  • Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product, except where the law does not allow such a limitation.

15) Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data protection laws (including POPIA). By using the Site, you consent to such processing as described in the Privacy Policy.

16) Communications

By using our Site or placing an order, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically (email/SMS/WhatsApp) regarding your order, delivery, support requests, and service notices.

17) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be handled in South Africa, subject to any consumer protection rules that apply.

18) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a revised “Last updated” date, and will apply from the date posted.
