Refunds & Returns Policy – HashLotto

Thank you for shopping at HashLotto. We sell niche, hobbyist Bitcoin mining hardware such as Bitaxe and NerdMiner devices. Because these products are technical and can be damaged or altered once used, please read this policy carefully before purchasing.

1) Change-of-mind returns (30 days – unused / never powered on)
If you ordered the wrong item or no longer want it, you may request a change-of-mind return within 30 days of delivery, provided that:

The product is unused and has never been powered on

All original packaging, cables, and accessories are included

The item is in resellable condition (no marks, scratches, missing parts, or damage)
If approved:

You may choose a refund (excluding original shipping) or store credit

Return shipping is for the customer’s account
Important: We do not generally accept change-of-mind returns for items that have been powered on, used, modified, or configured, as these can be difficult to verify and resell.
2) Faulty or damaged on arrival (DOA) / incorrect item received
If your product arrives damaged, not working out of the box, or you received the wrong item, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
Please include:

A description of the issue

Photos/video showing the issue and the packaging
We may first ask you to perform basic troubleshooting steps (many issues are caused by configuration, power supply, or network conditions).
If the product is confirmed to be faulty on arrival, damaged in transit, or incorrectly supplied, we will arrange an appropriate remedy in line with applicable consumer law and the circumstances, which may include:

Repair, or

Replacement, or
-
Refund
We may ask that the item be returned for inspection before a replacement or refund is approved.
3) Warranty (12-month limited hardware warranty)
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, we offer a 12-month limited hardware warranty from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
This warranty does not cover:

Damage from incorrect power supplies, over-volting, wiring faults, or power surges

Physical damage (drops, burns), liquid damage, corrosion

Damage from modification, soldering, flashing unsupported/custom firmware, or overclocking

Normal wear and tear
If you believe your device has failed under normal use during the warranty period, contact us with your order number and supporting photos/video. We will assess and advise the next steps (for example, repair or replacement, and a refund where appropriate).
4) Non-returnable items
We cannot accept returns for:

Products that have been physically modified or opened (where opening/alteration affects integrity)

Devices showing obvious misuse, burns, liquid damage, or corrosion
-
Items returned without original accessories, packaging, or identifying serial numbers (where applicable)

Unapproved returns sent back without contacting us first
5) How to request a return
To start a return, email info@hashlotto.co.za with:

Your full name

Order number

Product name
-
Reason for return
-
Photos/video (if faulty or damaged)
If your return is approved, we will reply with instructions and the return address.
Please do not send items back without contacting us first — unapproved returns may be rejected or delayed.
6) Refunds (timing)
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know if your refund is approved.
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank/payment provider.
Shipping costs are not refundable, except where:

We shipped the wrong item, or
-
The product is confirmed faulty on arrival / damaged in transit (where applicable)
7) Your rights (South Africa)
This policy applies in addition to your rights under South African consumer law (including the Consumer Protection Act). Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your legal rights.
